The name Thai is primarily a male name of Vietnamese origin that means Free.

I came to the states in 1988, raised by my mother who was an artist studying computer programming. She was displaced by the vietnam war. I took in a lot what made her great. Talented artist, a tactical mind. As inspired at a young age, I really took after my mother, but I didn't see the path as she did. I merged my love of the arts, the curiosity of the human mind, and my hunger for knowledge into design in the digital space. 

I was taken on by an amazing teacher, Carrier Pierce who instilled in my values of a great Graphic Designer and push me to not be happy with just succeeding project to project. In my years beyond my education, I collaborated in artists such as my long time friend, Ismail Kolingba & Jaleel "Jay Saif" Harrison.

I spent about 3 years freelancing in the esports & content creator space specializing in branding & youtube deliverables (thumbnails, social media posts, etc) and would go on to spent 5 amazing years in the cannabis space as Head of Operations & Project Lead for Illadelph Glass. Currently, I am surrounded by a team of young designers that are my day in day out inspirations.

While my strides have been small, I felt the growth has been wonderful. I continue to put forth the mindset I can learn from each day and new experiences set forth before me. It could only get better from here, right?
